The Vortex 14″ x 11″ DD Reaper searchcoil is a large format accessory coil designed for use with Garrett Vortex series metal detectors. Its large size is perfect for deeper detection depth and for covering more terrain with each sweep of the coil. This highly sensitive coil is durably constructed in a completely waterproof housing and comes with a full 3-year warranty from Garrett.

Deep Detection: This 14-inch-size searchcoil provides 25% more ground coverage than an 8.5” x 11” searchcoil. It is perfect for large fields and for hunting deeply buried coin and relic caches.

Fully Waterproof: The entire searchcoil can be submerged while searching for lost treasure in lakes, streams, and oceans.

Excellent Target Separation: Due to its DD configuration, the Vortex Reaper searchcoil enables easy separation and target identification of multiple adjacent targets, beneficial in areas where there is an abundance of metallic items.

Protective Cover: Each searchcoil is shipped with a searchcoil cover to prevent the coil from being scratched or damaged when swept over rocks, gravel, and other rough soils.
