Jay was hunting in his buddy’s field with his AT Pro, which had produced some pre-civil war relics. He was starting to get worn because after 2 hours he was not getting any good targets. He started walking and swinging towards his car. He writes, “ It was in the junk range but since I hadn’t dug anything for quite a while, I lifted a shovelful of dirt out and determined it was in the plug. As I was pulling the sticky clump apart, I saw a glint that I thought I’d never see. It was a gold coin! I was over the moon, and this was a find of a lifetime.” He found a 1851 2 ½ dollar gold coin!
