John drove over an hour to the edge of the Texas Hill Country with his ACE 300 to help a rancher search for a ring lost six months earlier in a massive cow pasture. After 90 minutes of digging shotgun shells and scrap metal, one strong signal finally stopped him in my tracks. He dug the target, checked the hole… nothing. Ran the pinpointer over the dirt clod and suddenly a massive gold and diamond ring appeared. The look on his face said it all. This was his great-grandfather’s ring, passed down through generations on a ranch that’s been in his family for over 200 years.
