Garrett Gold Challenge III Giveaway

The Garrett Gold Challenge III Giveaway (“Giveaway”) is subject to the following rules and regulations:

PROMOTION DESCRIPTION:

Garrett’s “Gold Challenge” Giveaway (“Giveaway “) begins on 03/03/26 at 10:00:00 A.M. Pacific Standard Time (“PST”) and ends on 04/12/2026 at 11:59:59 P.M. PST (the “Promotion Period”). Sponsor’s computer is the official time keeping device for the Giveaway.

ELIGIBILITY:

Giveaway is open only to individuals who are: (a) legal residents of the United States and Canada, (b) physically located in one (1) of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia, or in Canada, and (c) at least the age of majority, as defined in the Entrant’s state of residence, or older at the time of entry. Void in Puerto Rico, outside the United States (except Canada) and where prohibited by law. All entrants must have a valid mailing address, email address, and phone number. By participating in this Giveaway, Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules. Sponsor, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, retailers, sales representatives, advertising and promotion agencies and each of their respective officers, directors and employees (the “Promotion Entities”), are ineligible to enter the Giveaway or win a prize. Household Members and Immediate Family Members of such individuals are also not eligible to enter or win. “Household Members” shall mean those people who share the same residence at least three months a year. “Immediate Family Members” shall mean parents, step-parents, legal guardians, children, step-children, siblings, step-siblings, or spouses. This Giveaway is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited or restricted by law.

Grand Prize:

One GPAA Gold Life Lifetime membership*; one Garrett Deluxe Gold Pan kit; two bags of gold paydirt; Garrett Nugget Scoop; and an entry ticket to the Garrett Gold Challenge III contest, to be held on the weekend of April 17-19, 2026, in California; PLUS $1,000.00 for travel expenses.

Second Prize:

One GPAA 1-Year Membership Bundle*; one $250 value GPAA Sourdough Gold Paydirt Bag; one Garrett Deluxe Gold Pan kit; one Garrett Nugget Scoop; and an entry ticket to the Garrett Gold Challenge III contest, to be held on the weekend of April 17-19, 2026, in California; PLUS $1,000.00 for travel expenses.

Third Prize:

$1,000 gift certificate for use on Garrett to purchase any prospecting or detecting gear and accessories, PLUS one bag of gold paydirt.

Fourth Prize:

$500 gift certificate for use on Garrett to purchase any prospecting or detecting gear and accessories, PLUS one bag of gold paydirt.

Only one prize per person and per household will be awarded. Prizes cannot be transferred, redeemed for cash or substituted by winner. Each winner who receives a ticket to the Garrett Gold Challenge III contest is responsible for his or her own lodging and travel to Mariposa, California. The event will begin on the morning of Friday, April 17, and will conclude on the afternoon of Sunday, April 19. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to award a substitute prize of equal or greater value if a prize described in these Official Rules is unavailable or cannot be awarded, in whole or in part, for any reason. The approximate retail value (ARV) of the prize represents Sponsor’s good faith determination. That determination is final and binding and cannot be appealed. If the actual value of the prize turns out to be less than the stated ARV, the difference will not be awarded in cash. Sponsor makes no representation or warranty concerning the appearance, safety or performance of any prize awarded. Restrictions, conditions, and limitations may apply. Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen prize items. Approximate retail value of the Grand Prize is $3,768. Approximate retail value of the Second Prize is $1639. Approximate retail value of the Third Prize is $1,100. Approximate retail value of the Fourth Prize is $600. The prize winner(s) is/are responsible for reporting and paying all taxes associated with a winner’s receipt of the prize. Winner must complete a W-9 form that Sponsor will use to file required 1099 forms with IRS.

This giveaway is open to all United States and Canada residents and prizes will only be awarded and/or delivered to addresses within said country (see “Eligibility” section). All federal, state and/or local taxes, fees, and surcharges are the sole responsibility of the prize winner. Failure to comply with the Official Rules will result in forfeiture of the prize.

HOW TO ENTER:

All required steps specified herein are referred to as the “Entry,” and each person who submits one (1) or more Entries is an “Entrant.” (a) Enter by making a purchase of any item on the Garrett website https://garrett.com/ during the Promotion Period. For every $25.00 spent, person earns an extra entry. (b) To Enter without making a purchase: visit the Garrett website and click on the provided link for the “Garrett Gold Challenge III Giveaway” to enter for free. (c) Total Entries: There is a limit of five (5) total Entries permitted per Entrant during the Giveaway Period.

Participation constitutes Entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules, along with the Giveaway website terms and conditions, if any, and to be bound by Sponsor’s privacy policy and to all decisions of Sponsor, which are final in all matters related to the Giveaway and which Sponsor may decide in its sole discretion. Winning a Prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. PARTICIPATION IN THE GIVEAWAY IS VOLUNTARY AND DOES NOT REQUIRE YOU TO PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM SPONSOR.

By submitting an Entry, you agree that Sponsor may contact you via telephone, email, at your home address or on social media, including on Facebook, Instagram or TikTok, by sending you a direct message, tagging you, posting to your social media page or naming you on Sponsor’s social media pages.

Automated or robotic Entries submitted by individuals or organizations will be disqualified. Internet entry must be made by the Entrant. Any attempt by Entrant to obtain more than the stated number of Entries by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations, logins or any other methods, including, but not limited to, commercial contest/ giveaway subscription notification and/or entering services, will void Entrant’s Entries and that Entrant may be disqualified. Final eligibility for the award of any prize is subject to eligibility verification as set forth below. All Entries must be posted by the end of the Promotion Period in order to participate. In the event of a dispute as to any Entry, the authorized account holder of the email address used will be deemed to be the participant. The “authorized account holder” is the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. Potential prize winner may be required to show proof to Sponsor of being the authorized account holder or forfeit the prize.

WINNER SELECTION:

The Winners of the Giveaway will be selected in a random drawing by Sponsor from among all eligible Entries received throughout the Promotion Period. Winners will be selected from all entrants in a random drawing to be held on or about the dates that follow: Grand Prize: March 30, 2026; Second Prize: March 23, 2026; Third Prize: April 6, 2026; and Fourth Prize: April 13, 2026. The potential prize winners will be notified within twenty-four hours. Failure by a potential prize winner to respond within twenty-four (24) hours after the second of two (2) attempts will result in disqualification and an alternate potential prize winner then will be selected in the same manner, time permitting, from all remaining eligible Entries.

Odds of winning will vary depending on the number of eligible Entries received. Sponsor is not responsible for any delay or failure to receive notification for any reason, including inactive email account(s), technical difficulties associated therewith, or Winner’s failure to adequately monitor any email account.

VERIFICATION OF WINNER AND PUBLICITY:

ALL POTENTIAL PRIZE WINNERS ARE SUBJECT TO VERIFICATION BY SPONSOR. SPONSOR’S DECISIONS ARE FINAL AND BINDING IN ALL MATTERS RELATED TO THE GIVEAWAY, INCLUDING THE ADMINISTRATION, OPERATION, SELECTION OF THE WINNER AND ALL OTHER MATTERS RELATED TO THE GIVEAWAY. AN ENTRANT IS NOT A WINNER OF A PRIZE UNLESS AND UNTIL ENTRANT’S ELIGIBILITY HAS BEEN VERIFIED AND ENTRANT HAS BEEN NOTIFIED THAT VERIFICATION IS COMPLETE.

Except where legally prohibited, potential Prize winner(s) must sign and return a Release of Liability and Publicity Release and any other related documentation required by the Sponsor (collectively, the “Release”), which will be included with the email notification, within seventy-two (72) hours following notification of winning, or an alternate potential Prize winner(s) may be selected.

No substitution or transfer of a prize is permitted except by Sponsor.

GENERAL RULES AND RELEASES:

All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. BY PARTICIPATING IN THIS GIVEAWAY, ENTRANT/ PARTICIPANT AGREES THAT SPONSOR, AND ITS AFFILIATES, SUBSIDIARIES, REPRESENTATIVES, CONSULTANTS, CONTRACTORS, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES, AND AGENTS (THE “RELEASED PARTIES”) WILL HAVE NO LIABILITY WHATSOEVER FOR, AND SHALL BE HELD HARMLESS BY ENTRANTS AGAINST, ANY LIABILITY FOR ANY INJURIES, LOSSES OR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND TO PERSONS, INCLUDING PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH, OR PROPERTY RESULTING IN WHOLE OR IN PART, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, FROM ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, MISUSE, OR USE OF THE PRIZE, ENTRY, OR PARTICIPATION IN THIS GIVEAWAY OR IN ANY GIVEAWAY-RELATED ACTIVITY, OR ANY CLAIMS BASED ON PUBLICITY RIGHTS, DEFAMATION OR INVASION OF PRIVACY, OR MERCHANDISE DELIVERY. BY PARTICIPATING IN THIS GIVEAWAY, ENTRANT AGREES THAT THE RELEASED PARTIES WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY INJURIES, DAMAGES, OR LOSSES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES TO PERSONS, INCLUDING DEATH, OR TO PROPERTY ARISING OUT OF ACCESS TO AND USE OF ANY WEBSITE ASSOCIATED WITH THIS GIVEAWAY OR THE DOWNLOADING FROM AND/OR PRINTING MATERIAL DOWNLOADED FROM SUCH SITE. By participating in this Giveaway, Entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the results of the random drawing. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the offering or the announcement of any Prize or in the administration of the Giveaway.

Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, damaged, stolen, misdirected, or illegible entries; lost, interrupted, or unavailable network, server, or other connections, telephone transmission problems, or garbled transmissions or miscommunications; computer or software malfunctions, or damage to a user’s computer equipment (software or hardware); technical failures; or other errors or malfunctions of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, or otherwise. Proof of sending or submission of entry will not be deemed proof of receipt by Sponsor. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. If any provision of these Official Rules should be held unenforceable or invalid for any reason, then that provision or portion thereof shall be modified or deleted in such manner as to render the remaining provisions of these Official Rules valid and enforceable.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:

Sponsor assumes no responsibility or liability for (a) any incorrect or inaccurate entry information, or for any faulty or failed electronic data transmissions; (b) any unauthorized access to, or theft, destruction or alteration of entries at any point in the operation of this Giveaway; (c) any technical malfunction, failure, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or communications line failure, regardless of cause, with regard to any equipment, systems, networks, lines, satellites, servers, camera, computers or providers utilized in any aspect of the operation of the Giveaway; (d) inaccessibility or unavailability of any network or wireless service, the Internet or website or any combination thereof; (e) suspended or discontinued Internet, wireless or landline phone service; or (f) any injury or damage to participant’s or to any other person’s computer or mobile device which may be related to or resulting from any attempt to participate in the Giveaway or download of any materials in the Giveaway.

If, for any reason, the Giveaway is not capable of running as planned for reasons which may include without limitation, infection by computer virus, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which may corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Giveaway, the Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Giveaway in whole or in part. In such event, Sponsor shall immediately suspend all drawings and prize awards, and Sponsor reserves the right to award any remaining prizes (up to the total ARV as set forth in these Official Rules) in a manner deemed fair and equitable by Sponsor. Sponsor and Released Parties shall not have any further liability to any participant in connection with the Giveaway.

Facebook, Instagram and TikTok do not sponsor or endorse Sponsor or the Giveaway. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. You understand that you are providing your information to the Sponsor and not to Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.

PRIVACY:

Any personal information sent to, shared with or collected by Sponsor in connection with the Giveaway is subject to the Garrett Privacy Policy, found at https://garrett.com/privacy-and-legal, and Entrant understands that the Entrant is providing such information to Sponsor. Sponsor and its agents, affiliates, subsidiaries, representatives or service providers may use Entrant’s personal information submitted with Entry for purposes of prize fulfillment, including sharing such information with any company that provides elements of the Prize in order to for the company to deliver the Prize element(s) , and/or for future marketing by Sponsor, such as to notify them of an event or Giveaway that Sponsor thinks may be of interest.
