He submitted this photo of his oldest and most rare coin find, a 1793 Flowing Hair Chain large cent. “I had been hunting for approximately three hours and was working my way back to the car,” Randy said. “I got a quarter signal and dug that. Then, I made three more swings and got a strong signal again.” His last target, pulled from about seven inches deep, was this 1793 American large cent.
